Account Deletion — Oaura

1. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly inside the Oaura app at any time:

1. Open the Oaura app and go to Settings (bottom-right of the home screen).
2. Tap "Account".
3. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm the prompt.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are scheduled for removal. You will be signed out automatically.

If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing us at support@ocdaura.com from the address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

2. Delete Specific Data Only

You can request deletion of specific data without closing your Oaura account. For example, you may want to erase your chat history or journal entries while keeping your account active.

To request partial data deletion, email us at support@ocdaura.com from the address associated with your account and specify which data you would like removed. We will process your request within 30 days.

The following data types can be deleted independently:

• Chat conversation history
• Check-in entries and exposure exercise logs.
• Profile and onboarding data (note: this may affect app personalization).

3. What Data Is Deleted (Full Account Deletion)

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

• Your account credentials (email address, OAuth tokens).
• Your profile and onboarding data (name, age, mental health history).
• All chat conversations
• All check-in entries and exposure exercise logs
• App usage data and preferences linked to your account.

This data cannot be recovered after deletion is confirmed.

4. What Data Is Retained

We retain the following limited data after account deletion solely to meet legal and financial compliance obligations:

• Billing and transaction records (subscription receipts, purchase history) — retained for up to 7 years as required by tax law.
• Anonymized, non-identifiable aggregate analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.

No personal data, therapeutic content, or identifiable information is retained beyond what is described above.
