What's Inside
Six parts. Every angle of OCD recovery — from the neuroscience to the emotional work no one talks about.
Part 1
Understanding Your OCD
What OCD actually is, the cycle that keeps you stuck, all subtypes, intrusive thoughts, and compulsions — the full picture.
Part 2
What Actually Helps
ERP, ACT, ICBT, medication, mindfulness. What works, what doesn't, and why — with the evidence behind each.
Part 3
Starting the Work
How to begin right now. A step-by-step guide to handling triggers in real time without giving in to compulsions.
Part 4
The Long Game
What progress really looks like. Understanding spikes and handling relapse without it derailing everything.
Part 5
The Inner Work
Shame, grief, self-compassion, and reclaiming your identity beyond OCD — the chapters most guides skip.
Part 6
The People Around You
What to tell them, what to ask of them, and how family accommodation quietly keeps OCD alive.
I have OCD — and I wrote this because I spent years looking for something honest. Something that didn't feel like it was written by someone who'd only ever read about OCD, never lived inside it.
This guide won't do the work for you, but it will give you what I wish I'd had earlier: a real picture of what's happening in your brain, why the things you're doing to cope are making it worse, and what actually helps.
